Mazda RX-8 with Valentines Concours Wax

Saturday. With the STi out of the way it was time for the RX-8. The time was 9:00am, and it was to under go the same machine polishing treatment for swirls, plus protection with a sealant and Valentines Concours Wax.

The package performed on this vehicle was Platinum.

Before

Polish residue on the boot lid after the workshop valeted the vehicle!

During

The car was then snow foamed, washed and dried to prepare for claying.

The car was not as clean as it looked, the clay removed the following contaminents from half the bonnet alone.

Time to inspect the paint, and low and behold the swirls come out to play (I assume they were caused by the workshop clean mostly).

Swirls and holograms covered most of the car, as well as a few random deep scratches (RDS), caused by a water blade!

The vehicle was then restored and refined leaving the vehicle’s paintwork corrected and ready for protection.

Re-Snow foamed to remove any dust and polish residue from the machine polishing.

After glazing with Sonus SFX-3.

The car was then sealed and then followed by Valentines Concours Wax.

The tyres were dressed and the alloys were sealed.
The glass was polished and the plastics/rubbers were dressed, finishing up around 7:00pm.
