Friday. The first of the 3 details I had booked in this weekend, starting with a Subaru Impreza STi Type UK at 9:30am. The work today was a full correction as the owner was not happy with the swirl marks it had when he bought it.

The package performed on this vehicle was Platinum.

Although there were a few swirl marks and holograms around the vehicle, the actual cleanliness of it was a credit to both its current and previous owner.

After assessing the car was then rinsed, snow foamed, washed and dried (2 bucket method).

After drying the vehicle it was already clear that the car was covered in swirls and holograms!

Now it was time to clay the vehicle to remove the bonded contaminents from the paintwork, this then left the paintwork prepped for machine polishing and also to assess the swirls more clearly.

The car then underwent a 2 stage cutting and refining process to remove the paintwork defects.

The car was then given a snow foam to remove any remaining dust and residue.

The glaze Sonus SFX-3 was then applied leaving the following:

The car was then sealed. Now it was time for the first use of the highly acclaimed Valentines Wax. Mark said it contains between 60 and 70% carnuba!

The wax was amazing to use, 2-3 minute cure times with unbelievable reults!

Wheels were sealed  and the tyres dressed.

The time was now 7:30pm, time to call it a day and return the next day to quickly quick detail the vehicle before he set off to an Impreza rolling road day.

Saturday. I arrived early at 7:30am as he had to leave for the meet for 8:30am, and also I needed to fit him in before doing a Mazda RX-8 at 9:00am.

Then the heavens opened!

Unbelievable beading! Probably the best I have ever witnessed, Valentines seems to be a quality product so far. Finally my favourite picture of the beautiful blue flake pop in the black produced by the detail.

Thank you for reading, it was a long one!
